Sound Corporation’s Products Design and Development department has designed and created a new and ingenious floorstand to connect Peecker Sound’s smallest satellite unit, the PSUT1 model, to its companion dual subwoofer, the PSUTS model. The stand, coded PSUT1-ST110 on the price list, consists of a 440C steel tube structure, 110 cm in height and 14 mm in diameter, which hanks to a customized metal flange fixed to the stand by means of knurled knobs, can support one or two PSUT1 micro-speakers and anchor them firmly to the PSUTS subwoofer by stud screw connection and a flange identical to the one above (the sub being vertically positioned).
Thanks to this original accessory, the audio configuration made up of one PSUT1 unit (or two units) and one PSUTS unit per channel extends the range of possible applications of these products, operating alongside active stack systems (the now popular PSUT8TE and PSUT8AE passive columns fixed to the PSUTBASE/A active sub) as portable systems for bands and entertainers as well as for use in locations such as demo rooms, multi-media installations for exhibitions or other events, wine bars and HO.RE.CA. venues (performance is excellent in piano bar situations with single/duo performers). The usefulness of this system also for display in musical instruments shops should not be forgotten.
Boosted by this intelligent solution, the Upturned T series can, beyond a shadow of a doubt, be regarded as the most versatile line in Sound Corporation’s product range.
